RegX is the Danish Cluster Academy – a national platform for competence building, knowledge sharing and networking among people who are working with development of clusters.
Working areas
RegX will work with three focus areas: Clusters, Open -innovation and Regional development. Together these three themes will provide a foundation for supporting the development of strong and international competitive clusters in Denmark.

The activities in RegX will be centered around :
Education and Knowledge Sharing
Starting this fall, RegX will launch two new capacity building programs for actors involved in cluster based economic development.
The first program is RegX´s Cluster Facilitator Program. In this program we will develop a number of different modules based on the needs of the Danish cluster facilitators. Examples of modules could include Cluster Strategy and Value Chain Analysis, Internationalization of Clusters or Cluster communication.
Our second program is the Executive Policy and Innovation Program targeted at triple helix decision makers at regional and national levels who are involved in regional economic development. This 5-day program will be developed together with some of the best universities and practioneers in the world and will be based on cases and systematic gathering of experiences from Denmark and abroad.
R&D Activities
RegX will initiate various R&D activities in collaboration with national and international partners to build new knowledge on how to promote cluster and open-innovation collaboration in Denmark.
Knowledge Sharing and Networking
To promote knowledge sharing and networking among cluster facilitators in Denmark, RegX will set-up a national platform for exchange of good practice and experience among cluster facilitators in Denmark.
International orientation
RegX is currently involved in two international projects aimed at developing and testing training activites for cluster facilitators in the Baltic Sea region.
In addition, RegX has recently become partner in the European Cluster Academy - an EU project with 10 partners representing i.e. i.e. IESE Business School in Spain, Clusterland Upper Austria and VDI-VDE in Germany. In this project, RegX will among others be involved in developing training materials for cluster facilitators in Europe and for promoting networking among cluster facilitators in Europe.
Organization
RegX is organized around a board, an international advisory board, and 2 reference groups. RegX is financed by The Danish Enterprise and Construction Authority (DECA), Danfoss and The Region of Southern Denmark.
