The Secretaria d’Indústria i Empresa del Departament d’Innovació, Universitats i Empresa de la Generalitat de Catalunya (i.e. the Secretariat for Industry and Enterprise of the Department of innovation, Universities and Enterprise of the Generalitat de Catalunya) is in charge of preparing directive proposals on policies related to research, business/industrial innovation and development, general industrial and technological development, competitiveness and industrial security. Moreover, it is responsible for the direction and coordination of all the actions carried out in these fields and, specifically, the Secretariat for Industry and Enterprise is in charge of the planning and coordination of cluster policies in Catalunya.
